Victory Bible Church International also known as VBCI is a full gospel charismatic church founded by Presiding Bishop Nii Apiakai Tackie-Yarboi.

VBCI exists purposefully to convert people to faith in Jesus Christ and pursue their full assimilation into active membership of the family of God. Our continuing efforts are to bring people to maturity as followers of Christ, equipping them for ministry in the church while fulfilling their God given potential here on earth to the glory of God.

VBCI consists of a network of churches which function as lively organisms where authentic and enduring relationships are formed and fostered. Together, you and VBCI, the aim is to become that church that is described in the bible, where relevant teaching, in-depth worship, honest, dedicated friendships, ceaseless prayer and compassionate care for those in need is evident.

You will find that at VBCI, you are really very important because you are that important to God.

BRIEF HISTORY OF VBCI

Victory Bible Church International, congregated for the first time in Accra, Ghana (West Africa) on the 2nd of June, 1985 with an attendance of eighty-nine (89) people. VBCI was then known as Jesus People Outreach Church. This name was eventually replaced with Victory Christian Centre before its present name, which further depicts the scope of our God-given mission, with branches all over Ghana.
The presbytery of VBCI, then headed by Bishop N. A. Tackie –Yarboi, committed into the hands of our faithful arrowhead, Bishop Clement Asihene, the vision for a VBCI-UK. This was followed by his repositioning to the UK. Sequel to some home cell meetings amongst other endeavours, VBCI-UK held her inaugural service on the 14th of April, 1991.By the grace of God, this gathering has evolved from an initial home cell membership base of forty-five (45) people to a substantial church with many branches all over the UK and some major cities in Europe today.

VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT OF VBCI

Our Vision is to be a Biblically Functioning Community of Followers of Jesus Christ, in order to reach mankind with the gospel within their geographic, demographic, cultural and spiritual context.

Our Mission (what we do) is to convert people within our community in all creative ways and develop them into fully functioning followers of Jesus Christ.
We feel compelled to seek and to save the lost because Jesus came to do the same. But Jesus went beyond rescuing people from hell. He wanted to make them fit for Heaven. Through the various sub-ministries of the church, we desire people not only to meet Christ, but also over time, to grow in their faith so that they can live in obedience to His commands and become conformed to His character.

I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10 which states that "if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved". I do that now. I confess Jesus Christ as Lord and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Amen!
