Victory Bible Church International is a denominational church founded by Presiding Bishop Nii Apiakai Tackie-Yarboi.

The church exists to bring people to conversion in Christ Jesus and membership in His family, maturing them to express God in human form and equip them for their ministry in the Church and fulfill their God given mission in the world in order to magnify God.

We are a network of churches where you can develop authentic and enduring relationships with others. Together we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there's relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need.

BRIEF HISTORY OF VBCI

Victory Bible Church International, which is also a full gospel charismatic church, started in Accra, Ghana (West Africa) on the 2nd of June, 1985 with 89 people in attendance on the first day as a church. It then bore the name Jesus People Outreach Church. This was later changed to Victory Christian Centre before its present name. It has now grown into many branches all over Ghana.

The London branch was started on the 14th of April, 1991 after a couple of home meetings by Bishop Clement Asihene, who was sent by the Presbytery then headed by Bishop N A Tackie-Yarboi. The home meetings grew to have a membership base of about 45 people from which the present church took off.

Now by the grace of God, branches have been planted all over UK and some parts of Europe.

VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT OF VBCI

Our Vision is to be a Biblically Functioning Community of Followers of Jesus Christ, in order to reach mankind with the gospel within their geographic, demographic, cultural and spiritual context.

Our Mission (what we are Doing) is to convert people within our community in all creative ways and develop them into fully functioning followers of Jesus Christ.
We feel compelled to seek and to save the lost because Jesus came to do the same. But Jesus went beyond rescuing people from hell. He wanted to make them fit for Heaven. Through the various sub-ministries of the church, we desire people not only to meet Christ, but also over time, to grow in their faith so that they can live in obedience to His commands and become conformed to His character.

I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10 which states that "if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved". I do that now. I confess Jesus as Lord and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.

I am now reborn! I am a Christian.
